SBEA members please present your current 2012 membership card at the SBEA table and get your free movie ticket to be used March 3. Tickets will only be given with the member’s card and not family membership card. Limit 1 ticket per person, 4 tickets per member. If you have more than 4 in your family you may purchase discounted tickets for the Palace West at all SBEA stores.

Free Glow In The Dark Bowling

May 5, 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

SBEA members may bowl for free at Seneca Bowling Alley with their current 2012 SBEA membership card (including shoe rental). You must show your card at the table set up inside the door to get in free. This event is for you and your immediate family only. Limit one game unless there is no one waiting to play.

Kids Fishing Day

SBEA invites all kids to come out and enjoy the lake and the thrill of catching a fish. We will stock the kids lake with fish especially for this day.  Prizes will be given away that day for the kids. Free hotdog, chips and pop will be provided for participating kids. Concessions will also be available for parents to purchase.  This is a chance to see what a great facility you have at SBEA. The SBEA lake is located at 4226 S. Gold. Members can save 10% off all kids fishing items after the fishing event. Meet in front of the lake store at  9:00 a.m. or come out anytime from  9:00  a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Garage Sale

SBEA Recreation Area

Don’t pack or throw away any of those winter clothes or camping items. Join the SBEA garage sale at the SBEA Recreation Area, 4226 S. Gold. You can reserve a spot for your own garage sale for only $5.00. Tables are available for $3.50 per table, while supplies last. Concessions will be available. Sign up forms are available in all SBEA stores or call 522-2996. Set up time will be 5:30 a.m. June 16. The garage sale will be open to all our members and the general public.

Lake Open Only to Contestants

Grab your fishing poles it’s time for another Lunker Catfish Fishing Tournament. The Lake will close at 7:30 p.m. and the tournament will begin at 8 p.m. on May 19, and run until weigh in at 8 a.m. on May 20. The lake will be opened only to those entered in the tournament. We are opening the camp grounds for overnight camping to those entered in the tournament. You may pre-register at the lake store and pay your $25 entry fee or sign up prior to the start of the tournament. The lake will be stocked with large channel cat for this tournament. There will be 3 prizes for the 3 largest creel of 4 catfish, 1st place, ($250), 2nd place ($150) and 3rd place, ($100) and then $100 if you want to enter the contest for largest catfish caught for an additional $5.00 entry fee. The rules of the lake, including boating rules, must be followed with no gold fish allowed for bait and 2 poles per fisherman. No buddy system will be allowed, you must catch your own fish. Vehicles will be subject to inspection. Contestants will be supplied with an armband and rods used in the tournament will be tagged. Tournament ends at 8 a.m. on May 20, with weigh in promptly beginning at this time. If you do not present your fish by 8 a.m. they will be disqualified, so be sure to be on time. The bait shop will be open until midnight May 19, and reopen at 7 a.m. May 20, to help accommodate you for all your needs during the tournament. This event will be open to the public however if contestant is not a member they will have to pay the $12.00 fee to enter the property.
