- Maximum 2 fishing poles per angler.
- Maximum 2 single hooks per line.
- Maximum 2 treble hooks per line.
- Maximum 2 artificial lures, plugs or flys per line.
- No snagging.
- No baiting an area (chumming).
- No trot or bank lines.
- No netting or seining or wading (no floats).
- No fishing by speargun, gig spear, bow, or trap.
- No unattended poles.
- Corn, Goldfish and Carp are not allowed as bait.
- A Kansas State Fishing License is not required.
- Access to the Peninsula and buoyed areas is prohibited except with
management approval.
- Fishing is limited to B.E.A. members, their immediate families and
paying guests.
- Fish cleaning at fish cleaning station only.
- Management reserves the right to survey all anglers and their creels.
- All anglers must register when entering the park.
- Game fish may not be destroyed, except with prior management approval.
- Failure to abide by rules specified by SBEA Recreation Area Management
may be grounds for suspension or revocation of membership.
- The taking of minnows and bait fish from lake is prohibited
- Fishing docks:
- No more than 6 people on the docks at one time.
- No fires or camping stoves on the docks.
- No rocks on the docks.
- No tents, sleeping bags or camping on the docks.
- Availability of the docks is on a first come first serve basis.
- Failure to abide by the rules may result in your being asked to leave the property or may be grounds for suspension or revocation of your membership.
- The handicapped have priority use of the handicap-designated docks.
- Young children should not be left unattended on a dock or at lake.
- No poles or personal items are allowed unattended on the dock, especially overnight.
- When you leave a dock, you must take your belongings. Docks can not be saved. Unattended articles will be removed and taken to the lake store for pick up by the member.
