Lake & Store are both closed on Monday - Tuesday year round except for some holidays.

Fishing Tournament

August 21

7 a.m. - 5 p.m.

The largest catfish caught wins some angler a nice rod & reel combo. You must be a SBEA member and register your catch with the ranger. Fish must be legal size and alive.

Have you ever wanted fresh fish for dinner but just don’t have the time to fish?

Mark Harbin of Harbin Fish Farms will be at the SBEA Recreation Area, 4226 S. Gold, for a one day only fresh fish sale Saturday, June 12 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Live Channel Cat (1-3 lbs.) and Live Buffalo (3-8 lbs.) will be sold for $2.50 per pound for members and $2.75 for non-members. If buying fish you will need to bring a container or cooler to transport the fish you buy. These are farm raised in spring water and are delicious!Fish can be cleaned for a $1 per cat fish or $1.50 per buffalo with proceeds to go to the SBEA.
