Ever commit a murder? You’ll get your chance when you attend the murder mystery dinner. During the dinner a body will be found! It’s murder! Who did it? Someone you know? Or you! You’ll have outrageous fun figuring it out! You’ll meet lots of characters, or even be a character yourself. Whether you’d like to participate a little or a lot, we promise you a wild time when you attend the mystery presented by “Jest Entertainment”

February 11, 2012, 6:00 p.m. at La Quinta Inns & Suits, 7335 East Kellogg, Wichita. Join us as we bring a professional traveling theater company specializing in comic mysteries from St. Louis Missouri to entertain you and your friends. Tickets are on sale now at all SBEA stores. Tickets are $23.00 for members and $30.00 for nonmembers. Dinner will be included: beef tips, hawaiian ham, scalloped potatoes, and florentine vegetables, corn, tossed salad, pasta, strawberry shortcake, cobbler, tea and coffee. This is a BYOB. Note, elevator only goes to the 6th floor, some stairs will have to be used to get to the 7th floor.

Multi Family Garage Sale

Saturday, June 16
7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Don’t pack away all those winter clothes or throw away those old summer clothes or camping items. No matter what you need to get rid of join the SBEA garage sale at the SBEA Recreation Area, 4226 S. Gold on May 30. You can reserve a spot for your own garage sale for only $5. There is a lot of room to set up and display all your treasures. Tables are available for $3.50 a table, while supplies last. Concessions will be available. Sign up forms are available in all SBEA stores or call 522-2996. Set up time will be 5:30 a.m. June 16. The garage sale will be open to the public as well as our membership.

Free Glow In The Dark Bowling

SBEA members may bowl for free at Seneca Bowling Alley with their current 2012 SBEA membership card (including shoe rental). You must show your card at the table set up inside the door to get in free. This event is for you and your immediate family only. Limit one game unless there is no one waiting to play.

Annual Ski & Gambling Trip

A Great Valentine's Day Trip

February 16 - 19, 2012

Join us as we go on our annual ski/gambling trip to Blackhawk Colorado. Members can enjoy a 3 night stay at the Lady Luck Casino & Hotel. Gamblers: Package is $229.00 members and $239.00 non members. Package includes : Bus transportation, 3 nights stay and one coupon book which includes $5 cash back coupon. Complimentary shuttle service is available to 25 other casinos. Skiers: Ski all day Friday, Saturday and half a day on Sunday at Eldora Mountain Resort. Skier package is only $356.00 for members, $366.00 non members based on double occupancy. Package includes: Bus transportation, 3 night stay, ski lift tickets, and basic ski rental, a lunch voucher for Friday & Saturday at Eldora Mountain Resort. Pick up a signup form at any SBEA Store to fill out and return to an SBEA clerk with your mopney. Bus will leave Thursday, February 16 at noon from Cessna Activity Center and arrive at Eldora Mountain Resort around 8 p.m. We will head back to Wichita from Eldora Mountain Resort on February 19 at 1 p.m. and arrive back around midnight. CALLING ALL KIDS 12 & UNDER

SBEA wants kids to come out and enjoy our facility and to experience the thrill of catching a fish. We will stock the kids lake area with fish for this day so that the kids will have a BIG chance of catching a fish. We encourage children 12 & under to fish here during the kids fishing day hours. If the kids put their catch into the lake they will receive a hotdog, chips and a pop. If they want to keep their catch that is okay too. We will sell hotdogs and chips and pop to anyone who would like to purchase them. If you have a child and do not have a fishing pole we will have some available for you to use. SBEA would like to see lots of kids come out and enjoy this great facility. If you haven’t been out before or in a long time this is a great time to grab the kids and bring them out to have a great day. Join us at SBEA Recreation Area, 4226 S. Gold. Members can save 10% off all kids fishing items after the fishing day in the lake store. Just meet in front of the lake store that day at 9 a.m. or come out anytime to join the fun.
